With only 500 units being hand-assembled in a delicate 300-hour process, the McLaren Senna is set to be the lightest road car McLaren has built since the F1, weighing in at an impressive 1198 kilograms. Its Monocage III carbon structure is the strongest monocoque McLaren has created to date, and provides a built-in protective roll cage despite its light structure, which helps the car accelerate from zero to 200 kilometres per hour in 6.8 seconds. The ‘floating’ eight-inch infotainment screen presents drive information, and even the entertainment system has been designed to fit the car’s lightweight needs, with the specially designed seven-speaker sound system weighing only 7.32 kilograms. The McLaren Senna made its public debut in March this year at the 88th Geneva International Motor Show. cars.mclaren.com
