Lonely Planet has published its first targeted guidebooks for cruise travellers. The Cruise Ports series offers insights into on-shore travel from major cruise ports including reviews, highlights and insider tips. In addition to advice on local life, cultural insights and the best things to see, do and eat in each port, the guides will also offer advice on selecting the right cruise for your unique needs, catering to individual, group or large family travel plans. The first destinations to be featured for the guides are Alaska, the Caribbean and Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
