Signature Luxury Travel & Style
A PLACE FOR CONTEMPLATION
One of Croatia’s newest luxury hotels is also one of its oldest. Got it? Built in 1483, the Franciscan monastery on the island of Lopud, just 11 kilometres from the Croatian capital of Dubrovnik, has spent 20 years being meticulously restored and is now finally open to the public. A passion project of London-based collector Francesca ThyssenBornemisza, the monastery has been decorated with a number of artworks from her own personal collection. lopud1483.com
