Tips ON ETHICAL WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY

There are some photographers out there who are not ethical in their pursuit of the perfect photo. Don’t be that person.

Manipulating and restraining animals is a definite no no, as is harassing and disturbing wildlife.

Don’t damage the habitat, and under most circumstances, don’t feed wildlife.

Posting pictures of rare animals alongside location information (and especially GPS data) can have the undesired effect of leading poachers and illegal wildlife traffickers straight to their quarry. Be mindful.
