The Shawl is worked from the longest row down to the point. You can make the Shawl larger or smaller by changing the number of foundation chains, however, you must start with a chain that is a multiple of 8.

Row 2 Ch2, skip 1 dc, * dc into next dc, 9dtr in 5ch sp, dc into next dc, 2ch, skip 3 dc; rep from * to last 2 dc, dc into next dc, skip last dc, turn. [342 dtr, 37 ch-2 sps, 76 dc]

Row 3 Ch1, skip first dc, ss in next 3 dtr,* dc into next 3 dtr), ch3, skip (3dtr, dc), dtr into ch-2 sp, ch3, skip (dc, 3dtr); rep from * to last 9dtr, skip first 3 dtr, dc in next 3 dtr, turn. [111 dc, 72 ch-3 sps, 36 dtr]

Row 4 Ch1, skip 2dc, dc into next dc, dc into ch-3 sp, *ch5, skip 1dtr, dc into next ch-3 sp, dc into next 3 dc, dc into ch-3 sp; rep from * across to last 3 dc, dc in next 2 sts, skip last dc, turn.

Repeat Rows 3-5 until you have one Shell remaining.

EDGING

Join Yarn B at a corner.

Fasten off.
