“This challenge really took me out of my comfort zone! I don’t usually use such ne yarn and this was my rst adventure in jewellery design, but I was really excited to be trying something new. Inspired by the beautiful, pastel colours, I started with a few delicate little owers, then played with shapes to create a sweet, romantic design that I love and is easier to make than you might think.” Follow Vicky’s creative adventures on Instagram @veraandbess.

“As soon as I saw the yarn was 3ply cotton and the theme was jewellery, my mind started working overtime – so many ideas all at once! I realised that simple was the way to go and the faithful granny square won the day – as soon as you start you will know what I mean! The design is simple and quick and you could also build up so many versions using the same design – the sky’s the limit.” Sara is on Instagram @sarascales and you can nd her Etsy store at www.etsy.com/shop/Octopudding.
