ABBREVIATIONS

For a full list, see page 92 Sloths are everywhere right now. They’re the Instagram motif of the moment, so you’ll be bang on trend. They may just hang around and cause trouble very slowly, but they’re super quick to hook!

NOTES

The Sloth Brooch is made by working in the amigurumi method unless otherwise directed. Work in a continuous spiral, without closing off each round with a slip stitch. You may find it helpful to place a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round, moving it up as you work.

TO MAKE UP

Draw around the Face onto paper and use this outline to cut out a piece of felt.

Using the image as a guide, sew the Face to the Head using Yarn B, and the Eye Patches to the Face with Yarn C. Sew 2 vertical lines in between the Eye Patches for nostrils, and 1 horizontal line for the mouth. Using Yarn D, sew an eye onto each Eye Patch. Attach the brooch fastening to the back of the felt and sew the completed Sloth onto the front.
