JOIN MOTIFS

On each Half Motif, 9 sts on each side are joined; join to every st and ch along each side, and 1 of the ch on each side of the ch-3 sp, leaving the centre ch of the ch-3 sp unworked. Using Vanilla, join Motifs together by placing WS together and working a dcbl into the corresponding stitch of each Motif through both layers. There are two rows of joining, as shown by the bold dashed lines in the diagram. Complete 1 row of joining. Fasten off, join the second row.

Fasten off.
