Add some colour contrast to your tree by adding cute pink bobbles to your baubles!

ABBREVIATI­ONS

Bobble Leave the loop of Bayleaf on the hook and continue in the next st using Fuchsia (yrh, insert hook into st, yrh and pull up a loop, yrh and draw through 2 loops) 4 times (there should now be 1 loop in Bayleaf and 4 loops in Gold on the hook), using Bayleaf, yrh and draw through all 5 loops on hook (bobble made)

NOTES

The Bauble is made working in a continuous spiral without closing off the round with a ss. It may help to use a stitch marker in the last stitch of each round, moving it up as you work.

BAUBLE

Using Gold, ch4, ss to first ch to join into a loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st), 6dc into the loop. [6 sts]

Round 2 2dc in each st around. [12 sts]

Round 3 (Dc in next st, 2dc in next st) 6 times, change to Chestnut. [18 sts]

Round 4 (2dc in next st, dc in next 2 sts)

6 times. [24 sts]

Round 5 (2dc in next st, dc in next 3 sts) 6 times. [30 sts]

Round 6 (Dc in next 2 sts, 2dc in next st, dc in next 2 sts) 6 times, change to Cranberry. [36 sts]

Rounds 7-9 Dc in each st around, change to Bayleaf at end of Round 9.

Round 10 (Bobble using Fuchsia, dc in next 5 sts) 6 times. [30 dc, 6 Bobbles]

Round 11 Dc in each st around.

Round 12 Dc in next 3 sts, (Bobble using Fuchsia, dc in next 5 sts) 5 times, Bobble using Fuchsia, dc in next 2 sts.

Round 13 Dc in each st around.

Round 14 Repeat Round 10, change to Cranberry.

Rounds 15-17 Repeat Round 11, change to Chestnut.

Round 18 (Dc2tog, dc in next 4 sts) 6 times. [30 sts]

Round 19 (Dc in next 3 sts, dc2tog) 6times. [24 sts]

Round 20 (Dc2tog, dc in next 2 sts) 6 times, change to Gold at end of round. [18 sts]

Round 21 (Dc in next st, dc2tog) 6 times. [12 sts] Gently fill the Bauble with toy stuffing.

Round 22 Dc2tog 6 times. [6 sts]

Fasten off leaving a 15cm tail, draw this through all remaining sts and pull tight to close.

HANGER

Using Gold, attach yarn to top of bauble, ch30, ss to top of bauble.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
