Us­ing Pur­ple Bordeaux, make a magic loop.

Round 1 Ch2 (counts as htr through­out), 9htr into the loop, ss to top of beg ch-2 to join.

Round 2 Ch4 (counts as dtr), 4dtr into same st as ch-4, ch2, skip 1 st, (5dtr into next st, ch2, skip 1 st) 4 times, ss to top of beg ch-4 to join.

JOIN MO­TIFS

Join the Square Mo­tifs in a 7 x 6 for­ma­tion. Us­ing Fuch­sia, lay them out with the WS fac­ing up and whip­stitch through the top loops.

BOR­DER

Join Fuch­sia into any cor­ner.

Round 1 Ch5 (counts as tr, ch2) tr into same cor­ner sp, *twisted 2tr across to next cor­ner (count­ing each ch-2 sp be­tween the rows of Mo­tifs as a st), (tr, ch2, tr) into next cor­ner sp; repeat from * around, ss to 3rd ch of beg ch-5 to join. [438 twisted 2tr, 8 tr, 4 ch-2 sps]
