Using a blend of British Bluefaced Leicester and British Alpaca, it has the hardiness of pure wool but with a subtle silky feel. The yarn is constructed with a 2ply twist that initially feels thinner that your standard DK yarn, but when worked up it creates a lovely light fabric that drapes beautifully.
