Never will your neckline look so good when you adorn it with this pretty flower collar. Pop it on for an instant feel-good factor.
NOTES
Collar is made up of 2 pieces. One piece will be flipped over so that the widest edges can be joined together at the front.
The Flowers are made separately and joined to the Collar.
COLLAR
MAIN BODY MAKE 2
Using Jet Blank, ch36.
Row 1 Htr in third ch from hook and each ch across, turn. [34 sts]
Row 2 Ch2, (2htr in next st, htr in next 4 sts) 3 times, (2tr in next st, tr in next 4 sts) twice, 3tr in next st, tr in next 3 sts, 3tr in next st, tr in next 2 sts, (tr2tog) final 2 sts, turn. [42 sts]
Row 3 Ch3 (does not count as st throughout), (tr2tog) first 2 sts, tr in next 3 sts, 2tr in next st, (tr in next 4 sts, 3tr in next st) twice, tr in next 3 sts, (2htr in next st, htr in next 3 sts) twice, 2dc in next st, dc in next 3 sts, 2dc in next st, dc in next 8 sts, (dc2tog) final 2 sts, turn. [49 sts]
Row 4 Ch1 (does not count as st), skip first st, ss in next 9 sts, 2dc in next st, (dc in next 3 sts, 2dc in next st) 3 times, dc in next 3 sts, 2htr in next st, htr in next 6 sts, 2htr in next st, tr in next 5 sts, 2tr in next st, tr in next 3 sts, (tr2tog) next 2 sts, tr in next st, (tr2tog) next 2 sts, turn leaving final st unworked. [52 sts]
Row 5 Ch3, (tr2tog) first 2 sts, tr in next 5 sts, 2tr in next st, tr in next 3 sts, 2tr in next st, tr in next 3 sts, 2htr in next st, htr in next 3 sts, 2dc in next st, dc in next 5 sts, 2dc in next st, ss in each st to end. Fasten off.
FLOWER (MAKE 62)
Using Jet Black, make a magic loop.
Round 1 (RS) (Ch2, tr in loop, ch2, ss in loop) 5 times.
Fasten off.
TO MAKE UP
Flip one of the Main Body pieces and the widest edges together over Rows 1-2 to form the front of the Collar.
Cut the ribbon in half. Fold the cut edges up and sew across to prevent fraying. Sew each cut edge to the back of the Collar.
Pin the Flowers to the Collar, beginning on the lower edge so they overhand the edge, and continuing until the Collar is covered. Once happy with the position, sew in place.
Sew a bead to the centre of each Flower. Weave in all ends.
Fold over the neckline of your chosen garment.
