HBhtr (herringbon­e half treble) Yrh, insert hook in st indicated, yrh and pull loop through st and first loop on hook, yrh and pull through all loops on hook

NOTES

Blanket is worked in rows throughout.

Change colour on the final yrh of row before colour change is indicated. Fasten off previous colour and work over tails where possible, to reduce the number of ends to weave in.

LAVENDER BABY BLANKET

Using a 5mm hook and Yarn A, ch76.

Row 1 (RS) HBhtr in the third ch from hook, HBhtr in each ch across, turn. [75 sts]

Rows 2-6 Ch2 (counts as HBhtr), HBhtr in each st across, turn.

Change to Yarn B.

Rows 7-9 Ch2 (counts as htr), htr in each st across, turn.

Change to Yarn C.

Row 10 Ch2, (5-tr cl in the next stitch, htr in next st) rep across to end, turn. Change to Yarn B.

Rows 11-13 As Row 7.

Change to Yarn A.

Rows 14-37 As Row 2.

Change to Yarn C.

Rows 38-40 As Row 7.

Change to Yarn B.

Rows 41-43 As Row 7.

Change to Yarn C.

Row 44 As Row 10.

Change to Yarn B.

Rows 45-47 As Row 7.

Change to Yarn C.

BORDER

With RS facing, join Yarn C in top-left corner. Work a round of dc, working 2dc in each corner. Fasten off and weave in ends.
