Row 1 ( RS) P2, *K1, P1; rep from * to last st, P1.

Row 2 K2, *P1, K1; rep from * to last st,

K1.

Row 3 P2, *pass yarn to back of work, sl 1 as if to purl, P1; rep from * to last st, P1.

Row 4 K2, *P1, K1; rep from * to last st, K1. Rep Rows 3 and 4.

BORDER ST

Using Yarn A and 5mm needles. Row 1 ( RS) K1. Row 2 With yarn at front of work, sl1 as if to purl. Rep these 2 rows.

STOCKING ST ( ST-ST)

Using Yarn A and 5mm needles Row 1 Knit. Row 2 Purl.

BACK

Cast on 95 ( 103: 111: 121: 131) sts using 5mm needles and Baltic. Work in Patt Rib until the knitting measures 53 ( 54: 54: 55: 56) cm.

Armholes

Cast off at the beg of every row as foll: 3 sts 2 ( 2: 2: 2: 4) times, 2 sts 4 ( 4: 6: 6:

6) times, 1 stitch 10 ( 10: 8: 12: 12) times. Then cont on the rem 73 ( 79: 85: 91:

95) sts.

Shoulders and Neck

When work measures 71 ( 73: 75: 77: 79) cm, cast off 6 ( 6: 7: 7: 7) sts, work 23 ( 25: 26: 28: 29) sts, cast off the central 15 ( 17: 19: 21: 23) sts for the neck, work rem 29 ( 31: 33: 35: 36) sts. Each side will now be completed separately.

Next row ( WS) Cast off 6 ( 6: 7: 7: 7) sts, work to central cast off sts and put rem sts on a stitch holder.

Next row ( RS) Cast off 3 sts at neck edge, work to end.

Next row ( WS) Cast off 6 ( 6: 7: 7: 8) sts, work to end.

Next row ( RS) Cast off 2 sts at neck edge, work to end.

Next row ( WS) Cast off 6 ( 7: 7: 8: 8) sts. Work 1 row straight.
