Yarn knits as chunky to this tension

14 sts and 20 rows to 10x10cm (4x4in) measured over st st using 6mm needles

19.5 sts and 21 rows to 10x10cm (4x4in) measured over cable pattern using 6mm needles

33 st cable panel is 17cm wide.

20 sts and 21 rows to 10x10cm (4x4in) measured over front band rib and garter stitch pattern using 6mm needles

Front rib and garter stitch band is 6cm wide

Cast off 4 sts loosely at beg of next 6 rows, then 11 (12: 13: 14: 15: 16) sts at beg of next 4 rows, finally cast off 11 (12: 13: 13: 14: 15) sts at beg of next 2 rows.

Cast off rem 21 (22: 23: 26: 27: 28) sts loosely.

TIE (OPTIONAL)

Cast on 100 sts using 5mm needles. Cast off evenly.

TO MAKE UP

Join shoulders. Join cast-off edges of back neck border, then stitch inner edge to cast-off sts of Back. Join side and sleeve seams. Slot tie through the holes in Front. Make a knot in each end of the Tie.
