CAST ON 11 sts.
ROWS 1-4 Starting with a K row, work in st st. ROW 5 K6, K next st together with corresponding cast-on st, K6.
ROW 6 Purl.
ROW 7 K1, ssk, K to last 3 sts, k2tog, K1. [9 sts] ROW 8 Purl.
Repeat Rows 7 and 8 twice more. [5 sts] ROW 13 K1, sk2po, K1. [3 sts]
ROW 14 Purl.
Break off yarn and thread through remaining sts. Pull tightly to secure and weave in ends. Block gently to help the heart lie flat.
