We loved it... WOOL @ JUNCTION 13
What? An exciting yarn festival held on a family-run farm in Penkridge, Staffordshire. This small but perfectly formed event includes engaging workshops, inspiring exhibitions, sheep shearing, tasty food and more – the ideal day for the yarn obsessed. What did we do? We learnt a lot about sheep and sheep shearing and discovered a whole host of new skills, from arm knitting a cowl to Dorset Button making, and turned a selection of our own skeins into perfect yarn cakes, ready for knitting.
What did we buy? `ÕÛiÌ w i` with 100% wool, hand-painted yarns Ü À i` >ÌÕÀ> wLÀià > ` > > `vÕ of woolly yarn badges, just for fun. Why you should go This unique farm-based event has returned for its second year after a successful launch in 2017. We love that it’s a family affair, w i` Ü Ì i Ì Õà >à v À >À °
