KNITTER FOR LIFE

-

I have included a photo of the blanket I made from the pattern in your little book, that came with issue 155. I did mine in just two colours. I was going to write to you when I nished it, but ended up paying another visit to the hospital for a week so I’m only just getting around to sending it. I saw someone has already sent you a picture of her blanket, in your 171 issue, but I thought I’d still send it to you as it looks so different in just two colours. I just love knitting. At 82 years old, I can’t knit as fast or for as long as I once could, but would be lost if I couldn’t do it at all. I have been knitting since I was four years old. In those days, I was knitting for soldiers during World War Two.
