Picking up dropped stitches

Lose the fear of a dropped stitch with our solution.

-

1 Work your row until you reach the dropped stitch and insert your crochet hook into the stitch, from front to back.

2 Still working from front to back, insert your crochet hook under the bar of yarn from the row above the stitch on your hook and draw the bar of yarn through the stitch on your hook, slipping the original stitch off your hook as you do so.

3 Repeat Step 2 until you have run out of bars of yarn to work with. You’ll know because you will have reached the row you are currently knitting.

4 Insert your left-hand knitting needle into the front of the stitch on your hook and place it onto the right-hand knitting needle, removing the hook from the stitch. Continue knitting your pattern.
