MAKING UP

Block each of the pieces gently to measurements, following any yarn care instructions on the ball band. Sew in yarn ends. Place the eye pieces together with WS facing. Starting at the outer edge, and using Yarn A, join the two pieces together by the following method: Pick up and knit 1 st by placing your needle through the two pieces at the row end. *Pick up another stitch in the next space by using the same method, now cast off that st; rep from * into every stitch around the outer edge of the eye piece until you come to the strap end. Working in the same manner, pick up and cast off 8 sts across the strap end, but only picking the stitch up from one side of the eye piece. When you have worked all around the two pieces, rejoin the yarn to the two side edges which haven’t been worked and pick up and cast off 8 sts across the open end. Place the ends of the strap inside the open ends, and sew securely in place. In Yarn D sew some false eyelashes to one side, using image as a guide.
