MAK­ING UP

NECK­BAND Join shoul­ders.

With RS fac­ing and us­ing a set of 4mm DPNs, re­join yarn neatly to cen­tre front and pick up and K42 (45: 48: 51: 54) sts evenly up right side of front neck, knit across 30 (32: 34: 36: 38) sts at back of neck dec 3 sts evenly across, fi­nally pick up and K42 (45: 48: 51: 54) sts evenly down left side of neck. [111 (119: 127: 135: 143) sts] Work­ing in rows, not rounds, beg with a Row 2, work 6 rows in rib as for Front.

ARM­HOLE BORDERS

With RS fac­ing and 4mm nee­dles, pick up and K107 (115: 121: 129: 133) sts evenly around arm­hole.

Beg with a Row 2, work 6 rows in Rib as for Front. Cast off in rib. Join side seams and arm­hole borders. Neatly stitch down right side edge of neck­band to base of first 6 rows of left side of bor­der (as in pho­to­graph), then lightly stitch down left side edge to WS of cor­re­spond­ing sec­tion of right side.
