DID YOU KNOW? Compared to their bodies, and to other British breeds, they have rather small heads. Bleu du Maines are actually a cross between Leicester Longwool and Wensleydal­e sheep. The addition of a ‘Millennium Bleu’ was created in 2000 by crossing a Bleu du Maine ewe with a Beltex ram.
