What do YOU think?

“DO YOU ALWAYS KNIT FOR OTHERS?”

-

I mainly knit items for others, but the actual knitting process is for myself. Kristine Yarwood, via Facebook Mostly for others. I knit for babies born within my circle of friends, family or work, charities, new step-grandchildren, Christmas gifts for people. Now and again I will make myself something. I’m badly needing some cardigans and jumpers, but have a long list to get done first… Isabel Freeman, via Facebook I have at least two shelved items for me because others always need something knitted… However, last year I did manage to complete an adult blanket for myself! Juniper Askew, via Facebook Myself and others, but the knits for others always seem to be the ones that actually get finished… Ramblingsofanobody, via Twitter I knit for my granddaughter, Florence. I started a top for myself, but only got halfway then abandoned it to knit for her instead. Janice Mountford, via Twitter I knit for myself and others. It’s so nice to give knitted presents, but I learn more when I knit for myself as I don’t have deadline pressure. Jess Sylvie, via Twitter I knit for me, myself and I… is that a little selfish? Pepa España Handicraft, via Twitter Definitely not, Pepa – keep knitting for you!
