Meet Jane, the Digital and Communication Manager at www.britishwool.org.uk

Up early or slow to rise? Early! There’s not much choice with two boisterous boys and a dog! First job of the day? Checking social media. British Wool has a lovely audience, so engaging with them is always a nice first job of the day. Mid-morning pick-me-up? I’m a slave to caffeine. My role at British Wool involves a lot of writing, which is better after a few coffees! Fave time to sit back and take five? After I’ve checked my social media – it’s a good time to consider priorities for the rest of the day.

Leisurely lunchtime? I make a rule to always leave my computer at lunchtime and get some fresh air – as long as it’s not pouring down!

Post-lunch priorities? I’m a morning person, so organising my afternoons is a little more challenging. I start with a good list!

Clocking-o time? Usually around 4.30-5pm so I can get home to the family. It’s the first job where I’ve managed a good work/life balance – I’m lucky to have such a supportive employer.
