PONCHO

Note The Poncho is knitted in one piece using the stranded colourwork technique. Cast on 198 sts using 4.5mm needles and Yarn A. Row 1 *K1, P1; rep from * to end.

Row 2 * P1, K1; rep from * to end.

These two rows form the moss stitch pattern. Rep last 2 rows once more. Change to 5mm needles. Working from Chart in st st, work next rows as follows:

Row 1 (K1, P1, K1) in Yarn A, work Row 1 of Chart to last 3 sts, (K1, P1, K1) in Yarn A.

Row 2 (K1, P1, K1) in Yarn A, work Row 2 of Chart to last 3 sts, (K1, P1, K1) in Yarn A.

These 2 rows set the pattern. Rep the Chart pattern twice omitting last 2 rows on last rep. Change to 4.5mm needles. Using Yarn A, work 4 rows in moss stitch. Cast off.
