Repeat these 2 rows once more.

Beg and ending on a knit row, work in st st until Back measures 30cm from cast-on edge.

Next row (WS) Knit. (This is the fold row.)

FRONT

Note The Front continues on from the Back section. Row 1 (RS) K18, P18, K18.

Row 2 P18, K18, P18.

Continue as set by last 2 rows for 19 more rows. Row 22 (WS) K18, P18, K18.

BACK FLAP AND BUTTONHOLE BAND

Note The Back Flap and Buttonhole Band continues on from the Front section.

Work 10cm in st st. Fold over at the fold row and make sure that the last row sits just on top of the cast-on row – adjust if necessary. Row 1 (K1, P1) to end.

Row 2 (P1, K1) to end.

Last 2 rows set moss st, working the K sts as P and the P sts as K. Row 3 Moss st 4, k2tog, yo, moss st 7, p2tog, yo, moss st 7, k2tog, yo, moss st 7, p2tog, yo, moss st 7, k2tog, yo, moss st 7, p2tog, yo, moss st 3.

MAKING UP

Block and press according to yarn band instructio­ns. Sew the side seams. Sew on the buttons to correspond with the buttonhole­s.
