Tell us about unravel…
unravel is an annual festival which takes place at Farnham Maltings, Surrey. Since its launch in 2009, the festival has become one of the leading independent events for knitting and crochet, with yarn enthusiasts visiting from across the country and around the world.
What can knitters do at unravel?
The hub of the festival is the marketplace. It’s a buzzing environment and provides visitors with the opportunity to browse and buy diverse products from more than 70 quality exhibitors. We attract leading names from the knitting fraternity, and we balance established favourites with emerging hand-dyers and designers. Essentially, it is curated to always o er something new and exciting to returning visitors. unravel also o ers an exciting selection of expert-led workshops and talks on a range of disciplines and for varying abilities.
Highlights for this year’s show?
In the marketplace we have a number of vendors new to the show for 2019. We also have an international aspect to the festival, with leading guest tutors teaching in the workshop programme. We will be announcing the names shortly, so continue to follow us on social media to get news as it happens.
