Cast off using a stretchy cast off, such as Elizabeth Zimmermann’s sewn cast off. (See note.)
FINISHING
Before sewing up Jumper, using the image as a guide, embellish Owl as folls: Sew on Beak, sew on Eyes slightly overlapping the beak. Sew on Eyebrows. Sew on buttons and Wings. Join left shoulder and neck band seams. Remove markers from Back top edge. Fold Sleeves in half lengthwise and place stitch marker, use this stitch marker to line the centre of the Sleeve cap with the shoulder seam, pin Sleeve into place. Once happy, sew into position. Block gently to measurements, following any yarn care instructions on the ball band.
