With RS facing, rejoin Yarn D to central held 17 sts of Front neck, leaving rem 8 sts on hold for Right Back neck.

Row 40 Cast off 3 sts, K13. [14 sts]
Row 41 Cast off 3 sts, K10. [11 sts]
Rows 42 to 45 K11.
Row 46 K3, cast off 5 sts, knit to end.
Cont only on 3 sts attached to working yarn for Left Front strap, leave second set of 3 sts on hold for Right Front strap.
Rows 47 to 52 K3.
Cast off these 3 sts.
With RS facing, rejoin Yarn D to second set of 3 sts of Right Front strap.
Rows 47 to 52 K3.
Cast off these 3 sts.
With RS facing, rejoin Yarn D to held 8 sts of Right Back neck. Rows 39 to 50 K8.
Cast off.
MAKING UP
1 Join Head seam and stuff.
2 Cut two tiny circles of turquoise felt and two of white felt, glue these into place for the eyes, then attach eye beads on top using photos as a guide.
3 Join Body seam and stuff. Attach Head to Body.
4 Embroider the nose using Yarn D and a French knot. Embroider the mouth with red embroidery thread and the cheeks with Yarn F. 5 Seam legs, stuff lightly and attach each Leg to Body using a button and stitching all the way through Body.
6 Seam Arms, stuff lightly attach each Arm to Body using a button.
HAIR
Make the Hair with Yarn E and a tapestry needle.
Cut a long strand and sew it with loose and long stitches from one side of the head to the other, leaving a thin line in the middle for the parting. Continue in this way until all the Head is covered. Add a fringe at the front using the photo as a guide. Use Yarn E to make two little plaits and sew one to each side of the face. Add a little bow with Pink ribbon to each plait.
SHOES
Sew the edge of each sole to the inside of each shoe. Attach each strap at the interior side of each shoe and attach at the outer side using a tiny mother-of-pearl button.
KNICKERS
Fold the cast-off edge of each Leg edging down and sew in place. Do the same for waistband. Make two little bows with Pink ribbon and attach one at each side of the knickers just above the leg edgings.
DRESS
Attach the yellow ric rac all around the hemline, 2 rows up from the garter st border. Use red embroidery thread to add the chicks’ legs and beaks using photo as a guide. Use black embroidery thread and a French knot to add an eye for each chick. Using Yarn D, embroider a stitch between the chicks to separate them using photo as a guide. Attach a piece of ric rac 3 repeats wide to the front of the Dress and embroider chick details as before. Attach a tiny motherof-pearl button to correspond with each buttonhole at the back of the dress.
