Inspired by the unmistakable beauty of Fair Isle, this easy-to-knit yarn delivers a mock Fair Isle e ect in every swatch. Once knitted, your fabric is filled with randomised colour that’ll flatter the simplest of patterns, from garments to accessories and homewares. Made up of 100% anti-piling acrylic, the feel of this yarn is soft but strong, knitting up into a mid-weight drape that’ll add flexibility to your garments and accessories. The colour (above) is Volda, but colourwork fans will also love the other Fair Isle-inspired shades, such as pinky Loen, caramelly Laberg, oceanic Molde and minty Tysse.

It makes you want to whip it up into something superspecial for baby, so its no surprise that its DK weight makes baby cardis, jumper and hats with ease. Pure Baby Prints DK is the new addition to the Cygnet range and comes with a pastel, variegated colour e ect that guarantees to deliver a modern touch to your knits – we love Alice Blue (above) but there’s also Misty Rose and Lavender Blush in the five-shade range. LION BRAND REBOUND

Are you in the mood for something a little di erent? Lion Brand Rebound yarn is 100% nylon so it comes with a pleasing spring and bounce that plays through to your fabric brilliantly. You can feel its fun elasticity as you knit working directly into your fabric’s texture and making it great for stretchy summer wear in particular. WEST YORKSHIRE SPINNERS THE CROFT SHETLAND COLOURS ARAN

New The Croft Shetland Colours Aran yarn came about due to popular demand and is designed to complement WYS’s The Croft Shetland Tweed range. Made up of 100% Shetland Wool, which is celebrated for it’s fineness, warmth and strength, it knits up into a soft but hardy texture that creates cosy knits with a malleable drape. Tensionwise this yarn is a traditional light aran and flies easily o the needles, which is perfect if you’re in a hurry to get finished.
