Needles:

Size 3 , 4 and 5 mm

Tension:

With largest size needles, in stockinett­e st: 15 sts and 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Raglan armholes:

* 1st row (double decrease): At the beginning of right side row: k2, slip 4 sts to cable needle, hold in back; k1 (stretching the stitch a little bit), k2tog twice from cable needle.

At the end of right side row: work to last 7 sts; slip 1 st to cable needle, hold in front (stretching the stitch a little bit); k2tog twice, k1 from cable needle, k2.

2nd row (simple decrease): At the beginning of right side row: k2, slip 4 sts to cable needle, hold in back; k1 (stretching the stitch a little bit), (k2tog, k2) from cable needle.

At the end of right side row: work to last 7 sts; slip 1 st to cable needle, hold in front (stretching the stitch a little bit); k2tog, k2, k1 from cable needle, k2, *; repeat from * to*.

Back

With middle size needles, cast on 62 (69) 75 (82) sts. Work in 1x1 ribbing.

When back measures 6 cm, change to largest size needles and work in stockinett­e st, increasing 24 sts evenly spaced across first row: 86 (93) 99 (106) sts.

Raglan armholes: When back measures 40 cm, bind/cast off at the beginning of next 2 rows: 5 sts 1 time: 76 (83) 89 (96) sts. Continue decreasing at each edge as given in raglan armholes instructio­ns above, as follows: Repeat the two decreases rows a total of 8 times; ending with 1 double decrease row. (Repeat the two decreases rows a total of 9 times.)

Repeat the two decreases rows a total of 9 times; ending with 1 simple decrease row. (Repeat the two decreases rows a total of 9 times; ending with 2 simple decrease rows.)

Neckline: When back measures 59 (60) 61 (62) cm, slip remaining 24 (29) 33 (38) sts to holder.

Front

Work same as back.

Sleeves

With smallest size needles, cast on 36 (39) 42 (45) sts. Work in 1x1 ribbing.

When sleeve measures 2 cm), change to largest size needles and work in stockinett­e st, increasing 36 sts evenly spaced across first row: 72 (75) 78 (81) sts.

Raglan armholes: When sleeve measures 46 cm, bind/cast off at the beginning of next 2 rows: 5 sts 1 time: 62 (65) 68 (71) sts. Continue decreasing at each edge as given in raglan armholes instructio­ns above, as follows: Repeat the two decreases rows a total of 8 times; ending with 1 double decrease row. (Repeat the two decreases rows a total of 9 times.)

When sleeve measures 65 (66) 67 (68) cm, slip remaining 10 (11) 12 (13) sts to holder.

Work 2nd sleeve the same.

Finishing

Using side seams, sew 3 of the 4 raglan seams.

Neckband: Slip sts from holder to smallest size needles in this order: 24 (29) 33 (38) sts of front; 10 (11) 12 (13) sts of one sleeve; 24 (29) 33 (38) sts of back; 10 (11) 12 (13) sts of other sleeve: total of 68 (80) 90 (102) sts. Work 2 rows in garter st; bind/ cast off.

Using side seams, sew last raglan and neckband seams.

Using back stitch, side and sleeve seams.
