KID’S LAMB HAT MAIN HAT

Beginning at base, cast on 100 sts using 2.75mm needles and Ice. Work in garter st for 4 rows (knit every row).

Work 10 rows in 1x1 rib.

Work in garter st for 4 rows.

Change to 3.25mm needles.

Next row (K2, P2) to end.

Next row (K2, P2) to end.

Next row (P2, K2) to end.

Next row (P2, K2) to end.

These 4 rows form the textured pattern. Rep pattern 12 more times.

CROWN

Next row (K2tog, K8) to end. [90 sts]

Next (and every alt) row Knit.

Next row (K2tog, K7) to end. [80 sts]

Next row (K2tog, K6) to end. [70 sts]

Next row (K2tog, K5) to end. [60 sts]

Next row (K2tog, K4) to end. [50 sts]

Next row (K2tog, K3) to end. [40 sts]

Next row (K2tog, K2) to end. [30 sts]

Next row (K2tog, K1) to end. [20 sts]

Next row (K2tog) to end. [10 sts]

Cut yarn and thread through sts. Pull up sts tightly at crown and sew seam. Turn up ribbed brim. Ensure all loose ends are woven in securely.

Beginning at base, cast on 4 sts using 3.25mm needles and Ice.
