BC Garn, Allino.

Content: 50 % linen, 50 % cotton. 50 g = 125 m.

6 (7) 8 balls – col 05 natural

2 (3) 3 balls – col 07 silver grey

2 (3) 3 balls – col 13 pink

1 (1) 1 ball – col 29 light blue

Needles:

Circular needle size 3 mm (40 and 80 cm)

Circular needle size 3 mm (80 cm)

Tension:

22 stitches and 33 rows in stockinett­e stitch with smaller needles = 10 x 10 cm.

22 stitches und 54 rows in tweed pattern with larger needles = 10 x 10 cm.

The finished bust circumfere­nce should be 4–6 cm wider than personal measuremen­t.

If only one indication is given, it applies to all sizes.

Stockinett­e stitch: knit on RS rows, purl on WS rows.

Garter stitch in rows: Knit on RS and WS rows.

Garter stitch in rounds: Knit on even rounds, purl on uneven rounds.

Tweed pattern: (number of stitches must be divisible by 3 + 1)

Row 1 (silver grey): k3, *slip 1 st as if to purl (yarn back), k2; repeat from * until 1 st before end of row, k1.

Row 2 (silver grey): k3, * slip 1 st as if to purl (yarn front), k2; repeat from * until 1 st before end of row, k1.

Row 3 (pink): *k2, slip 1 st as if to purl (yarn back); repeat from * until 1 st before end of row, k1.

Row 4 (pink): k1, *slip 1 st as if to purl (yarn front), k2; repeat from * cont.

Row 5 (natural): k1, * slip 1 st as if to purl (yarn back), k2; repeat from * cont.

Row 6 (natural): *k2, slip 1 st as if to purl (yarn front); repeat from * until 1 st before end of row, k1. Cont working row 1–6.

Stripe sequences

Stripe sequence 1: 2 rows silver grey, 4 rows natural, 2 rows pink, 2 rows silver grey, 2 rows light blue, 2 rows silver grey.

Stripe sequence 2: Work the stripe sequence in stockinett­e stitch. The schematic shows RS and WS rows. Work row 1–50 2 times.

Stripe sequence 3: 2 rows silver grey, 2 rows light blue, 2 rows pink, 2 rows natural.

Back

Cast on with smaller needle 106 (115) 121 sts with silver grey and work for the border 14 rows in garter stitch and stripe sequence 1. Cont working stockinett­e stitch with natural. After 10 cm = 34 rows measured from beg of border change to larger needle and work 18 (19) 20 cm = 98 (104) 110 rows in tweed pattern.

Change again to smaller needle and cont working in stockinett­e stitch and natural.

Cast off for the neckline after 25 cm = 84 rows from the end of tweed pattern 30 (35) 37 sts in the middle and cont working both sides separately.

For the bevel at the inner edge cast off in every other row 2 x 2 sts. After 27 cm = 90 rows from the end of tweed pattern cast off the remaining 34 (36) 38 shoulder sts.Front Work as for the back, but with lower neckline. For this cast off after 22 (22) 21 cm = 74 (74) 72 rows from the end of tweed pattern 16 (21) 21 sts in the middle and cont working both sides separately.

Cast off for the bevel at the inner edge in every other row 1 x 3, 2 x 2 and 4 (4) 5 x 1 st. After 27 cm = 90 rows from the end of tweed pattern cast off the remaining 34 (36) 38 shoulder sts.

Sleeves

Cast on with smaller needles 56 (60) 66 sts in silver grey and work for the border 14 rows in garter stitch and stripe sequence 1. Cont working 4 (6) 8 rows in stockinett­e stitch and natural, then work in stockinett­e stitch according to stripe sequence 2.

Inc for the sleeve bevel after 8 (2) 4 rows measured from border 1 st at both sides. Repeat these increases at both sides on every 8th row 11 (12) 12 x = 80 (86) 92 sts.

Cast off all sts after 31 (32) 33 cm = 104 (106) 108 rows measured from border.
