Christine Fabiani, Founder and Director Charity Knots of Love Established June 2007 What do you do? Knots of Love distributes handmade beanies and blankets to extend a warm embrace and human connection. Over the last 14 years, we have donated 539,000 such gifts to cancer patients, premature babies and veterans across America at zero cost to the patients or families. We currently have over 150,000 dedicated volunteers who donate their time and talent by knitting beanies for us.

Latest fundraising news?

We have wonderful new range of craft kits available to purchase, which include a branded organic cotton project bag, knitting needles (or crochet hooks), yarn and other goodies! Each kit contains everything you need to make at least three beanies. We have also recently published fabulous bucket hat patterns for both knitting and crochet, which are digitally downloaded so can be bought wherever you live. If you are unable to knit for us but would still like to help, we have a great program called Sponsor a Box of Beanies for cancer patients and veterans, where we send boxes of beanies in your honour to hospitals and cancer centres. To find more about this, visit our website www.knotsoflove. org/events/sponsor-a-box-of-beanies.

What can we do to help?

You are already doing it! By spreading the word you can help us touch the lives of more brave men, women and children. Like many other charities, we are in need of more donors and makers, so anything you can do to help would mean a great deal.
