MAKING UP

Join both shoulder seams.

NECKBAND

With RS facing and 4mm needles, pick up and knit 28 (29: 31: 32: 32: 33) sts up right front neck, 32 (34: 34: 36: 36: 38) sts along back neck and 28 (29: 31: 32: 32: 33) sts down left front neck. [88 (92: 96: 100: 100: 104) sts]

Next row (WS) K1, *P2, K2; rep from * to last 3 sts, P2, K1.

Next row P1, K2, *P2, K2; rep from * to last st, P1.

These 2 rows set rib.

Work 5 more rows in rib as set.

Cast off in rib.

BUTTONHOLE BAND

With RS facing, pick up and knit 108 (112: 112: 116: 116: 120) sts up Right Front edge.

Row 1 (WS) K1, *P2, K2; rep from * to last 3 sts, P2, K1.

Row 2 K3, *P2, K2; rep from * to last st, K1.

These 2 rows set rib.

Next row (WS) Rib 2 (4: 3: 3: 2: 2), *cast off 2 sts, leaving 1 loop on right-hand needle, rib 14 (14: 15: 15: 16: 16); rep from * another 5 times, cast off 2 sts, rib to end.

Next row Rib to end, casting on 2 sts over each gap created by cast-off in previous row.

Work 3 rows in rib.

Cast off in rib.

BUTTON BAND

With RS facing, pick up and knit 108 (112: 112: 116: 116: 120) sts down Left Front edge.

Work 7 rows in rib as set for Buttonhole Band.

Cast off in rib.

FINISHING

Sew in Sleeves, easing fabric to fit. Join side and Sleeve seams. Sew on buttons. Block gently to measuremen­ts, following any yarn care instructio­ns on the ball band.
