Cont in Yarn E, and joining in yarns as needed, knit Rounds 17 to 36 of Chart.

Knit Rounds 1 to 36 of Chart.

Cast off loosely.

MAKING UP

Turn finished Hat inside out. The hat is designed to be slouchy on top, which is why it is knitted a little longer than a normal hat. Manipulate the top edges of the hat into a cross shape as seen in the diagram above and pin in place for stability. Seam the ‘legs’ of the cross using a length of yarn and a tapestry needle. Turn the hat right side out leaving the seamed cross section points tucked in so that the hat has shape but retains that slouchy feel. Weave in ends.
