2 August BASIC TO ADVANCED KNITTERS WORKSHOP

You’ll learn knitting basics and how to knit blankets, scarves, clothing and toys. Complete beginners to the more experience­d knitters welcome.

12-13 August NORTH EAST WOOL SHOW

Newcastle Race Course, High Gosforth Park,

Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 5HP

This is a brand new festival of knitting, crochet and woolly fibre crafts. There’ll be 70 stalls, plus a great range of workshops, all in a fabulous venue. There’s a café with hot and cold food and drinks, with room to sit and chat (inside and outside). Enjoy free demos from local guilds plus a charity magazine stall. Plenty of free parking and a fabulous pub just two minutes walk away!
