Bakewell Agricultur­al Centre, Agricultur­al Way, Derbyshire DE45 1AH This festival is dedicated to the very best of yarn, whether you’re into spinning, felting, weaving or (of course!) knitting. Previous exhibitors have included Coastal Colours, Ducky Darling, Alpaca Yarns, All Wool That Ends Wool and Emily Foulds. 2023’s list will be revealed soon.

20-22 October THE GLASGOW SCHOOL OF YARN

The Trades Hall of Glasgow, 85 Glassford Street, Glasgow G1 1UH Scotland’s longest running yarn festival, which has been championin­g innovative makers since 2011, started life as a party to celebrate local yarn shop The Yarn Cake’s first birthday and has grown into a two-day event.
