What’s The Big Deal About The S9/S9+ Camera?!
It seems every brand nowadays is claiming their flagship phone has ‘the best camera’, however in reality, only a select few have a product worthy of such promises.
The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus’ new “Reimagined Camera” pledges to capture jaw-dropping images, and Samsung has learnt this means upping the device’s processing power, not just the camera’s sensor.
The S9 Plus also recently won DxOMark’s “highest-ever” combined photo and video rating for a smartphone camera, adding further substance to the South Korean giant’s claims.
Recognising that the future of technology surrounds incremental evolution, Samsung’s internal improvements explain why the S9’s exterior remains largely similar to its predecessor.
Impressive images aside, Samsung affirms today’s consumer wants a camera which can do more - armed with increased speed, enhanced low light functionality, notable slow-motion capabilities and artificial intelligence, the S9’s camera proves to be the real deal, not just a marketing ploy.
Samsung believes smartphone users are increasingly opting for emojis and selfies in lieu of texts and calls, and the Galaxy S9’s camera has also been designed for that.
