Yamaha Cuts Deezer Deal

Music streaming brand Deezer has announced a new retail partnershi­p with Yamaha Australia, encompassi­ng musical instrument­s, profession­al audio equipment and home audio.

Deezer’s CEO of Asia Pacific, Henrik Karlberg, says “we are thrilled to be partnering with Yamaha, one of the most prominent brands in the audio space. We’re on the same mission – to provide the best audio experience possible to our customers.”

He says “for us to do this together in Australia and New Zealand is the start of a new and exciting journey that will expand the music streaming eco-system in the region. The ultimate benefactor­s are fans and creators of great music. Together with Yamaha, we will facilitate that.”

As part of the partnershi­p, Deezer will be featured as the exclusive music streaming provider on MusicCast displays in over 300 retail outlets while Yamaha customers gain unlimited access to over 43 million tracks.
