Galaxy Fold Redesign “Complete”
Samsung has reportedly completed a twomonth redesign of its Galaxy Fold, fixing significant screen failures experienced by early reviewers in initial launch.
According to Bloomberg “people familiar with the matter” claim Samsung is now in the “final stages” of producing a commercial version, though would not comment on an exact relaunch date.
The Fold was initially delayed when reviewers discovered that peeling off a protective film – which looked identical to a screen protector – caused display failures.
Samsung’s new Fold will feature a protective film that wraps around the screen and flow into the outer bezels, making it more difficult to remove.
