ALDI 473L sub $1K French Door Fridge back by popular demand

The highly popular ALDI French Door Fridge is coming back due to popular demand.

In what described as a first for ALDI, the big retailer is set to repeat their highly successful 473L Stirling French Door Fridge promotion, which saw the German retailer sell for sub $1,000 a product that is selling at other retailers, in some cases, more than $2,000.

ALDI ship the product direct to your home with no product displayed in store.

Late last year, ALDI ran a worldfirst trial where a large appliance was promoted in-store with no stock being held in stores. Instead, thousands of the popular product was shipped directly to customers after purchase.

Online retailers such as Kogan are now trying to replicate the same promotion, with the big difference being that ALDI hold stock in the country and deliver quickly anywhere in Australia via their wide delivery network. Also, Kogan doesn’t have as wide of a network as ALDI and its customers must pre-order.

The product is be available to purchase from Wednesday, February 26.

The new Stirling fridge comes with Smart LED lighting, adjustable glass shelves, and a humidity and temperature control system, which allows users to save electricity when off on holidays.

For customers who want to take advantage of the big savings on this appliance, simply take a cardboard cut-out of the fridge to the counter, pay for it, then the product is delivered within days.
