Three of Logitech’s products – the Logitech G Adaptive Gaming Kit, the Logitech MX Master 3, and the Blue Yeti X – have been named CES 2020 Innovation Awards honourees.

Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the CES Innovation Awards is an annual competition honouring outstanding design and engineering in consumer electronics.

Firstly, the Logitech G Adaptive Gaming Kit, which is a collection of buttons and triggers designed for gamers with accessibility issues, was an honouree in the Gaming category.

For the development of the Adaptive Gaming Kit, Logitech G worked with Microsoft Inclusive Tech Lab and leading accessibility groups including the AbleGamers Charity, Abilities Research Centre at Mount Sinai, and SpecialEffect, to ensure it met the needs of the community.

Compatible with the Xbox Adaptive Controller (XAC), the Adaptive Gaming Kit lets gamers play the way that’s most suitable for them by providing a set of controls that are easily configured to a wide variety of use cases.

In addition to the Adaptive Gaming Kit, the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse and Blue Yeti X microphone were also both awarded as honourees in the Computer Peripherals & Accessories category.

Now in its third iteration, the MX Master 3 mouse takes everything that users loved of the original design and rolled in the improvements made to MX Master 2S, to deliver Logitech’s most advanced Master Series mouse yet – designed for creatives and engineered for coders.

With the all-new MagSpeed Electromagnetic wheel, scrolling is 5x more precise and quick enough to scroll 1,000 lines in a second, according to Logitech, while the wheel’s machined steel gives it premium tactility and enough weight to offer a dynamic inertia you feel, but don’t hear.

With the implementation of Logitech’s Darkfield Tracking tech, users are able to track on virtually any surface – even glass – with best-in-class 4,000 dpi precision.

The Yeti X condenser microphone came about after Logitech acquired Blue Microphone in 2018 in a bid to compete with gaming peripheral brands like Razer and HyperX.

With built-in compatibility with Logitech’s G-Hub gaming software, the state-of-the-art USB microphone is designed for professional gaming and content creation.

The microphone features a four-capsule condenser array, which allows for more precise and focused audio from the microphone’s four pickup patterns, while the illuminated multi-function smart knob allows for simple and effective monitoring of audio levels in real-time.

Also at CES, Logitech, Logitech G, Blue and Streamlabs came together to showcase its streaming revolution and the future of broadcasting.

Throughout the event, a variety of well-known streamers hosted live streams from the booth and brought together an awardwinning suite of Logitech products to power their stream, including the C922 Pro Stream Webcam.

It is capable of hyper-fast HD 720p video capture at 60fps, comes with the benefits of reliable no-drop audio, auto-focus and a 78-degree field of view. Also, due to the two microphones fitted on either side of the camera, the C922 is able to capture more realistic sound for a clearer and more natural output.
