TVs You Can Flip Vertical & Big New Processors

- Written by David Richards

During the COVID-19 epidemic a lot of people have taken to upgrading their TV’s soundbars and entertainment gear, and Full HD TV owners are now investing in 4K Ultra HD. This is a smart move as more content providers are now delivering 4K movies and TV shows.

During the past 4 months we have seen a massive flight to premium brands whether it be sound gear or TV’s, demand for projectors so big that many retailers are out of stock of soundbars TV and audio products.

Shortly, The Good Guys will start selling the European made Loewe TVs. This is a premium brand that replaces Japanese brand Panasonic who earlier this year chose to get out of the Australian TV market.

Key to a good TV today is the processor which can be found in the Samsung and LG TVs.

These processors are key to significantly improved sound TV viewing and the streaming of content.

Chinese TV brands such as Hisense and ChiQ, who have been growing share, do not have the processing power to compete with a Samsung and LG TV that have big quad core processors.

At the value end of the market brands such as Bauhn which is sold at Aldi, Polaroid at Big W and Philips and Hitachi are offering great deals on 55- & 65-inch TV’s and soundbars.

In this issue of SmartHouse we take a look at some of the really impressive TV’s and sound gear out there including the new Samsung Flip TV called the Serif which can be viewed horizontally and vertically making it ideal for social media engagement.

We also take a look at the new LG Nano TV.
