LIAM – WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
Just when you think the dust’s settled and it’s all happy families on B&B, Hope has a baby bombshell!
Wedding fever’s once again in the air now that Steffy and Liam have reconciled! But amid the heady excitement of all the preparations for the big day, Bill’s fired off new salvos to prevent the nuptials ever taking place, having lied to keep them apart. He’s cruelly blackmailed Steffy into calling off the wedding, threatening that if she marries Liam, he’ll ensure Taylor goes to prison for shooting him!
That’s the terrible predicament Steffy (Jacqueline’s MacInnes Wood) finds herself in when Liam (Scott Clifton) returns
home to her. He happily reports that while Hope (Annika Noelle) is upset about their break-up she now believes that his place is with Steffy and their daughter Kelly; she won’t stand in the way of their wedding. When she hears Liam say he wants their wedding to happen
immediately, Steffy’s plagued by dreaded thoughts of Bill’s (Don Diamont) threats against Taylor (Hunter Tylo) – and cryptically tells her fiancé she needs time to sort out details for the wedding.
When a quizzical Liam presses her, Steffy has to start scrambling to find a legitimate, credible reason to delay the ceremony; something that won’t arouse Liam’s suspicions. The last thing she wants is to fire up Liam’s anger against his father all over again and cause any more damage that could permanently threaten her dream of a bright future with her beloved Liam.
Distracted with buying time to defeat Bill, Steffy doesn’t realise that she’s also giving her other relationship rival, Hope, ample opportunity to act as a wedding spoiler. Having already tempted Liam into working alongside her on the Hope for the Future collection at Forrester Creations, Hope finds she can’t hold true to her earlier declaration not to stand in the way of Liam and Steffy’s reconciliation. At every opportunity, Hope gets Liam alone behind closed doors to talk about his plans... and his feelings towards her. She brazenly bids to undermine his remarriage plans – with the goal of him finding his way back to her!
Suddenly, Hope’s mission to win back Liam is given an unexpected and shocking shot in the arm when she suspects she could be pregnant with his baby! Sharing the happy news with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Hope excitedly confides in her mum about what the development could mean, prompting
“Hope is patient and loving and they ultimately share a tender moment, bonding over the lifechanging news.”
Brooke to accompany Hope to see her OB/GYN Dr Phillips (Robin Givens), who confirms Hope’s up the duff! Oh! My! God!
The news proves utterly overwhelming and exciting for an emotional Hope! And Brooke encourages her daughter, insisting she now has to fight for the life she wants and deserves with Liam! Naturally, though, Hope has some concerns, realising the development could drive quite the wedge between her mum and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) – who won’t be pleased by the latest setback to Steffy and Liam’s reconciliation! To put it mildly! Brooke agrees there’s bound to be complications, but promises to support Hope as she readies to break the baby news to Liam.
Even as she’s dropping her bombshell, Hope gets the total bewilderment and confusion he feels, accepting that it potentially changes everything for him. And others. While he reels, Hope is patient and loving with him and they ultimately share a tender moment, bonding over the news that will also alter their lives. Ridge, meanwhile, loses it at hearing Brooke’s news about Hope and a huge row erupts when she suggests the baby may prevent Liam and Steffy from marrying! Simply refusing to acknowledge that possibility, Ridge is
adamant his daughter and Liam will be together, ominously promising to deal with the challenges that Hope’s pregnancy throws up for them all.
As for Steffy, she’s still desperately trying to fend off Dollar Bill’s interference in her life when he again shows up on her doorstep with a gift that she’s always wanted. She’s in no mood to kowtow to him, though, and instead defiantly forges ahead with her wedding plans, asking Eric (John McCook) to design her wedding gown. Soon after sharing her joy with him and Quinn (Rena Sofer) at the idea of she and Liam putting their family back together again, Steffy’s world looks set to implode as Liam heads home to tell her Hope’s news. How will Steffy react to her love rival having Liam’s child?
LIAM Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is pleased for Hope (Annika Noelle).
‘You’re... what?’ Liam (Scott Clifton) can’t believe what Hope’s telling him!
