A MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISERS

Once again, a very warm welcome back to everyone, not least our fantastic show visitors, who have made this show one of the most enjoyable in the world, and now, remarkably, into its 7th year!

This year we return to Sydney, where we have so many happy memories. Although as Organisers we reside on the other side of the globe, we have developed a kinship for this show like no other, and long as the trip to Australia might be, we look forward to it every year, and to meeting up with everyone again.

Hi- Shows such as the Australian Hi-Fi and AV Show continue to be unique events, in that there are very ‘few’ consumer products that support such stand-alone shows. And that is partly down to the enormous number of brands that exist in this diverse market (well over 3000 at the last count!), many of which are represented by small to medium sized businesses, for which shows are an invaluable conduit to the market.

And that’s what great shows are all about, seeing something new, maintaining brand loyalty, speaking to the experts, but above all sharing that experience with others that also enjoy the thrill of high quality audio & AV. This year we move to a new venue, but as always it is of the highest quality, which is what shows like this deserve. And once again supported by the same great enthusiastic team, and our incomparable media partners at NextMedia. Good things simply do not need changing! And as we did last time, anyone who has taken the time to read this intro will be rewarded with a welcome hot drink.
