CDA Pro Audio talks Sagarmatha cables...

-

“Upon entering the Audiophile/Hi-Fi market a few years ago I noticed end users going to extreme lengths when it came to selecting cable, connectors and cable assemblies,” says Rick Dowel, MD of CDA Pro Audio. “Some of the claims made by the companies about their cables and connectors does stretch one’s imagination. I have been involved in recording and post production for many years, I built Sound Australia in Brisbane in 1987 and I oversaw the transition from analogue to digital during my time. Of course, I used high quality connectors and cable but I paid nothing like I have seen Audiophile/Hi-Fi people pay for connectors and cable. I thought some common sense should be employed so I developed the Sagarmatha range of Connectors and Cable Assemblies. The Sagarmatha byline is “Performance, not promises.”

“The Spade and RCA connectors are milled in brass and every component, not just the outside shell, is gold plated. I source the XLR connectors’ components from a very respected audio connector manufacturer. The Carbon Fibre nish is just that, an aesthetic nish and does not affect the performance of the connector. All connectors are designed to look good, provide years of faithful service and to work as a very effective conductor between the cable and receiving connector. Performance, not promises.” Rick Dowel of CDA Pro Audio: Room 2115
