“Upon entering the Audiophile/Hi-Fi market a few years ago I noticed end users going to extreme lengths when it came to selecting cable, connectors and cable assemblies,” says Rick Dowel, MD of CDA Pro Audio. “Some of the claims made by the companies about their cables and connectors does stretch one’s imagination. I have been involved in recording and post production for many years, I built Sound Australia in Brisbane in 1987 and I oversaw the transition from analogue to digital during my time.
