We always marvel at the skills of marine installers who can not only create fully integrated AV solutions but can do so despite the constrictions of space, weatherproofing, marine voltages and global standards to deliver something befitting a super-yacht like the MY Lonian here.

Dutch installers Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH) have been integrating luxury tech onboard superyachts for 30 years, overseeing this superyacht’s lighting, AV, IT, satellite communications and video surveillance. The multiple audio and AV systems onboard include seamless switching of 4K video sources, made possible by Crestron’s DM NVX technology (pictured right), delivered through an intuitive user interface that can be programmed to allow guests to access their stored bookmarks, playlists, and interface tweaks whenever they’re on board the luxury vessel. Eight Crestron touchscreens also allow crew members to efficiently (and remotely) handle incoming requests, assignments, and satellite management.
