TECHNICS ANNIVERSARY EDITION TT

The other exciting release is from Technics. Technics have a long and enviable history of producing quality turntables. They have just announced the release of the SL-1210GAE – their 55TH Year Anniversary Edition model. Production will be limited to 1,000 units worldwide, and Australia will be receiving only 40. This model is based on the current SL1200G, which is the premium Technics turntable available on the local market. The upgrades include a new black anodized finish, a inscribed badge with the unique Serial No., specially developed zinc insulator feet, and the ability to turn off the strobe light while playing. Most importantly this limited-edition turntable will be offered at the same price as the existing SL-1200G, i.e. $6,995. Stock is not due for release until the end of July, however we are now taking pre-orders.
