Yamaha has also released the NS-3000 loudspeakers (below), inheriting design philosophies and the tweeter from the flagship NS-5000 in a smaller bookshelf form. Both the 30mm tweeter with its rear RS Chamber and the 6½-inch mid-bass drive unit incorporate Zylon, a synthetic polymer comparable in acoustic velocity to the beryllium used in Yamaha’s classic NS-1000, but even lighter and stronger. The crossover uses highest quality parts including Mundorf’s MCap SUPREME EVO audio capacitor. The NS-3000 will come with the matching SPS-3000 speaker stands, and is due late 2020, price TBA.
